[He stiffens a little, looking out to sea.] It wwas called a Cetea. They're vvery rare, rather like a wwhale but not a the same species.

[He pauses, moving a little in his seat.]

I spoke to a few of 'em back home. Had front feet of a landwalker, hey? [Smiles.]

[He stiffens more, pulling back to free his chin from the light grip. He's not smiling, and he doesn't look back at him]

Right, that's the type a lusus it wwas. Died wwhen I wwas a wwiggler, so I don't remember it much.

Heh, ah- that happens sometimes. It's the problem with lusii.

[Lays back, hands behind his head, legs crossing as he gazes at the sky.]

Cetea are pretty great riding animals, also, by the way. They wear a saddle well. If you can get one on 'em. They tend to be a bit feisty. [Laughs, giving Dualscar a wink.]

[It's quick and sudden as a striking snake. Dualscar turns and lunges at the brownblooded troll, snarling with bared teeth. He grabs him by the collar and shoves without letting go, shaking him.]

[Puts up his hands defensively, the jerking about makes his lagging vision a but worse, eyelids fluttering.]

Wwhat makes you think you havve the right to ride a Cetea! [Okay, he misunderstood what Summoner said, and he's drunk enough to overreact. Plus he's slightly sensitive on a lot of levels at the moment. Oops.]

[Frowns, hands moving up to clench around Dualscar's to try and pry him away.]

I just spoke to them, mostly seadwellers w-would use them for that. Leggo!

[He snarls, but the words penetrate sluggishly, and he draws back a little, his fingers loosening]

I nevver...did that. I wwas only four swweeps when he died.

[As soon as Dulascar's hands start to loosen, Summoner let's go of him, knowing Dualscar will stop of his own choosing now.]

Ah, well, not a lot do. I uh, I only spoke to a few that ever were used for that purpose. [Smiles.]

And a few of them weren't too fond of it either and made lunch outta their respective trolls.

[Which is kind of funny to him since he knew those trolls were ass holes anyway. Maybe sea dwellers are after all.]

But uh, yeah, don't worry about me doing anything like that, I tend to prefer land galloping creatures when I want a ride.

[Now he's embarrassed, and he lets go gently, smoothing the shirt back and looking down and away. He doesn't like talking about his lusus and his childhood. It makes him remember the loneliness of swimming around his hive, without the companionship of his lusus with him anymore. And the taste of blood in the water.]

Right, I should a expected that. Do the land dwwellers mind bein' used as slavve labour, carryin' a big troll on their back?

[Responding as is Dualscar had said sorry. His own hand goes to follow, adjusting his own shirt a little as he sits up, now sitting to face the other troll.]

Uh, no, it's a mutual thing. They get taken care of, and also? Heh, well, can you imagine the real control you have over the troll on your back? Hell, you might be 'serving' them, but you can easily control everything about them once they're on top of ya. Like all relationships, the one between a rider and steed is a two way deal.

[Dualscar thought he'd apologized, even if he didn't actually say it out loud.

He listens, still scowling and uncomfortable, but he nods without much comprehension]
